Prairie High School sits on the rural northern edge of Clark County in unincorporated Brush Prairie, serving roughly 1,500 students as the older of Battle Ground Public Schools' two comprehensive 4A high schools. The Falcons compete in the 3A Greater St. Helens League and have a long-running rivalry with Battle Ground High School.
Academically the school offers a broad menu of Advanced Placement courses and partnerships with Clark College for dual credit. The campus has been a Special Olympics Unified Champion School and hosted the regional Unified basketball tournament in February 2025. The journalism program, relaunched in 2022 under teacher Patty Alway, publishes The Falcon Flyer and a print yearbook called The Talon.
Facilities have seen recent investment — Prairie's main gymnasium got its first floor replacement since 1978 ahead of the 2024-25 season, and the campus also includes athletic fields and a performing-arts auditorium. The school's mascot is the Falcon, and team colors are red and gray.
