Grace Academy is a K-12 evangelical Christian school in Marysville, serving roughly 370 students from preschool through twelfth grade on a single combined campus. Founded in 1977, it's the longest-running Christian K-12 in north Snohomish County and is dually accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and Cognia.
In the north-Sound Christian K-12 peer set — Cedar Park Christian (Bothell), King's Schools (Shoreline), Bellevue Christian, and Northshore Christian Academy (Everett) — Grace Academy occupies the Marysville-Arlington-Lake Stevens slot, drawing families farther north than the Bothell-Edmonds-Shoreline corridor where the larger Christian K-12s are concentrated. Athletics run through the WIAA's small-school divisions, where Grace competes against rural and tribal public schools as much as against other Christian academies. School-reported math and reading scores run more than twice the state averages — useful context, though the comparison set (other private school students) is selection-biased upward.
The central tradeoff is small-school continuity: families who enroll in preschool typically stay through high-school graduation, which means a tight community but a narrow social cohort. Graduates split between four-year colleges and military service in roughly equal measure, a common pattern in Snohomish County Christian schools but distinct from the four-year-college funnel pattern at Seattle independents.
