Enumclaw Senior High School is the comprehensive high school for the Enumclaw School District, located at the foot of the Cascades in southeast King County. It enrolls roughly 1,340 students and competes as the Hornets in the South Puget Sound League at the 2A classification, with a long-running rivalry against neighboring White River High School in the so-called Battle of the Bridge.
The school offers Advanced Placement coursework with a participation rate above the state median, dual-credit options, and CTE programs reflecting Enumclaw's mix of agricultural, equestrian, and rural-suburban character. Wrestling is a particular point of school pride: in January 2024, the school inducted 2004 state champion Jake Gonzales, 2007 state champion Chase Smith, and the 2008 boys wrestling team - the first wrestling team state championship in school history - into the EHS Hall of Fame.
The local Courier-Herald regularly covers Hornet football, basketball, fastpitch, and golf, and the school is also a community hub for the Enumclaw Plateau, which sits between Mount Rainier National Park and the Green River valley.
