Woodland High School is the only high school in the Woodland School District, serving the Lewis River town of Woodland and surrounding unincorporated parts of Cowlitz and Clark counties. About 690 students attend grades 9-12 on a rural campus that the district has expanded in recent years to accommodate growth from north Clark County.
The Beavers compete in the 2A Greater St. Helens League and were back-to-back league football champions in 2023 and 2024, a first for the program since 2007 according to The Columbian. The team also drew attention for winning a 2A WIAA Academic State Championship with a collective team GPA of 3.461.
Academic offerings include AP coursework, College in the High School courses with Lower Columbia College, and CTE pathways in agriculture, business, and the trades. The school's full slate of sports — football, basketball, baseball, softball, wrestling, soccer, track, golf, cross country, and volleyball — is streamed through the NFHS Network from the Beavers' stadium and gymnasium.
