Tyee High School is a Highline Public Schools comprehensive high school in SeaTac, designed to accommodate 1,200 students in grades 9–12. The school opened a brand-new modernized campus in September 2025 as part of Highline's 2022 bond program, replacing the original building.
The new facility features energy-efficient building systems, science and music classrooms with new casework, and design touches that preserve school history — the library roof deck reuses original Tyee glulam beams. A learning-stair commons offers views of Mount Rainier, anchoring a central courtyard between library, commons, and classroom wings. Starting fall 2025, Tyee also launched a Health Sciences Program providing students hands-on training and healthcare-career pathways. The school is recognized in PolarisList's Washington Harvard/Princeton/MIT placement rankings.
