Timberline High School in Lacey is one of three comprehensive high schools in North Thurston Public Schools and enrolls about 1,401 students in grades 9–12. Opened in 1970, the school operates with a 21:1 student/teacher ratio and offers Advanced Placement coursework, a Gifted & Talented program, and athletics across the school's Blazer-branded teams.
Timberline is recognized as a top Harvard/Princeton/MIT placement program in Washington by PolarisList and posts a graduation rate at the higher end of the Thurston County range. The school's Class of 2025 graduated at Saint Martin's University, a tradition shared across NTPS high schools, and AP participation continues to anchor the school's college-prep pathway alongside Running Start partnerships with regional community and technical colleges.
