Thomas Jefferson High School is a 4A comprehensive school in the Federal Way Public Schools, located in Auburn. It is the largest enrolled high school in Federal Way and among the largest in Washington, serving roughly 1,810 students as the Raiders.
TJHS has run a full International Baccalaureate Programme since 1997, with an IB participation rate of 54% — among the highest in South King County. A replacement campus broke ground in December 2019 and opened in fall 2021, featuring a 400-seat theater, an upgraded gymnasium, and a school-based health center. Academic outcomes track below state median: SAT means around 858, AP pass rates near 31%, four-year graduation around 84%.
