Tahoma Senior High School is a 4A comprehensive school in the Tahoma School District in Maple Valley, serving about 2,950 students as the Bears — one of the largest single high-school campuses in Washington. The current three-story building opened in 2017. SAT means around 1,206, AP pass rates above 81%, and a four-year graduation rate near 93% place Tahoma in the top 20% of Washington high schools.
The school's We the People civic-education team has won the Washington state title 17 of the last 18 years, an unusual sustained competitive run. The wrestling program has won state titles in 1991, 1996, 2012, 2017, 2024, and 2025. The district welcomed a new Chief of Schools and an Assistant Director of Health and Wellness for the 2025-26 school year.
