Southridge High School (the Suns) is a Kennewick School District comprehensive high school in Kennewick, serving about 1,612 students in grades 9–12 with a 24.9:1 student/teacher ratio. The school is the only one in Kennewick offering more than 20 dual-credit College in the High School courses, alongside Advanced Placement coursework with about 23% participation.
The school posts an 87% four-year graduation rate, above the 84% state average, with a roughly 52% White / 38% Hispanic student body. Athletically, Southridge has a deep tradition of state championships, including a four-year run in dance (2004–2008), plus state titles in golf, soccer, and baseball, and individual state championships across tennis, gymnastics, swimming, diving, ice hockey, and wrestling. The school is recognized in PolarisList's Washington Harvard/Princeton/MIT placement rankings.
