Selah High School is a 2A comprehensive school in the Selah School District in central Washington's Yakima Valley, serving roughly 1,170 students as the Vikings. Selah is one of the strongest non-metro academic performers in the state: SAT means around 1,170, AP pass rates above 83%, and a four-year graduation rate near 98% — among the highest in Washington.
For the 2025-26 school year, every Selah student receives daily breakfast and lunch at no cost through the federal Community Eligibility Provision. Recent highlights include a top-10 national finish for the FFA Horse Evaluation team at the National FFA Career Development Event in Indianapolis, a 23-4 baseball season ending in the 2A state semifinals, and 11 students advancing to state-level Technology Student Association competition.
