Pullman High School is the only traditional public high school in the city of Pullman — home of Washington State University — and the Pullman School District, serving about 855 students in grades 9–12. The school has consistently ranked among Washington's top high schools, currently 32nd of 438 by U.S. News methodology.
Academic results are strong: 81.8% SBA ELA, 53.5% SBA Math, and 78% WCAS Science proficiency in 2024–25. Pullman HS offers Advanced Placement, Project Lead The Way engineering, and a Gifted & Talented program. Athletics compete in the Greater Spokane League's 2A division, with broad WIAA programs across both boys' and girls' sports. The school is the #28-ranked WA school by PolarisList HPM placements — heavily influenced by the strong WSU pipeline.
