North Central High School is a Spokane Public Schools comprehensive high school serving the city's near-north neighborhoods, with about 1,624 students across grades 6–12 and a 18:1 student/teacher ratio. The current building dates to 1982 with bond-funded renovations in 1998, 2009, and 2015. North Central offers 22 Advanced Placement courses and 13 College in the High School courses.
In October 2025, the Together Spokane $440M schools-and-parks bond proposal began a community conversation about further upgrades within the North Central boundary, where parts of the campus need significant repairs. The Class of 2025 graduated June 7, 2025, at The Podium with more than 4,000 attendees. The school is recognized in PolarisList's Washington Harvard/Princeton/MIT placement rankings.
