Nathan Hale High School is a 2A comprehensive Seattle Public Schools campus in the Wedgwood neighborhood serving about 1,060 students as the Raiders. Academic performance is at or near district median: SAT means just over 1,040, AP pass rates near 59%, and four-year graduation in the mid-80s.
Hale runs a strong Technology Student Association chapter that placed second in multiple events at the state TSA conference and qualified for nationals in spring 2026. The school moved to a two-lunch schedule in October 2025 alongside six other SPS high schools to address cafeteria capacity. A pending lawsuit involves a former student's allegations about district response to harassment in a prior school year and remains unresolved.
