Napavine Junior-Senior High School is the only secondary school in the Napavine School District and serves the small Lewis County town of Napavine, a few miles south of Chehalis along Interstate 5. The combined 7-12 campus enrolls about 420 students and operates with small class sizes typical of southwest Washington's farming communities.
The Tigers compete in the WIAA 2B Central League and are one of the state's most consistent small-school football programs of the past decade. Napavine reached four consecutive 2B state championship games from 2021 through 2024, winning the 2022 title and meeting Okanogan in the final three years in a row, as documented by The Daily Chronicle and Sports Illustrated High School. Boys and girls basketball, baseball, softball, and track add to the school's strong athletic profile.
Academic offerings include Running Start enrollment with Centralia College, CTE programs in agriculture and trades, and core college-prep classes; with limited staffing the school relies heavily on dual-credit options to broaden the curriculum for advanced students.
