Mt. Spokane High School is one of two comprehensive high schools in the Mead School District, serving over 1,500 students in grades 9–12 from a campus on the Mt. Spokane Park Drive corridor in Mead. The school opened in 1997 and graduated its first senior class in 1999.
Mt. Spokane runs Advanced Placement, Project Lead The Way engineering, and Gifted & Talented coursework, plus 43 College-in-the-High-School classes and Running Start partnerships for dual-credit at neighboring institutions. 2024–25 SBA results show 77% ELA and 47% math proficiency. The Wildcats compete in WIAA athletics, and the school is recognized in PolarisList's WA Harvard/Princeton/MIT placement rankings. Accreditation runs through 2026 via the Washington Association of Educational Service Districts.
