Manson High School is a small rural school on the north shore of Lake Chelan in Chelan County, serving the orchard town of Manson and the surrounding Manson School District. It enrolls roughly 220 students across grades 9-12 and is one of the smaller 1B/2B-classification high schools in north-central Washington.
The school received a 2025 Washington School Recognition Program award in the Closing Gaps - Graduation category, placing it among the top 16 percent of schools statewide for narrowing graduation gaps. Manson's reported four-year graduation rate is roughly 95 percent. The Manson Knowledge Bowl team has historically competed in the North Central Washington regional tournament against rivals Liberty Bell, Tonasket, Soap Lake, and Brewster, advancing to the state tournament in past seasons.
The school is woven into Manson's apple-growing community: it serves as a venue for the long-running Manson Apple Blossom Festival, and student artwork is featured in the festival's annual Art Awards. Volleyball has been a particular point of pride - Manson and neighbor Chelan are both perennial small-school state contenders in the WIAA tournament.
