La Center Academy is a tuition-free K–12 alternative public-education program of the La Center School District, organized under Washington state's Alternative Learning Experience requirements (WAC 392-121-182). The Academy primarily serves home-study students through computer-based coursework supplemented with site-based instruction, hosted on the La Center High School campus.
The program enrolls about 37 students and recognizes parents as primary educators while providing certified-teacher support, curricular resources, and access to district facilities. La Center Academy shares the #31 PolarisList WA rank with La Center High School and is paired in PolarisList records with the comprehensive La Center HS program. Office hours reopen August 17, with K–5 and 6–12 handbooks updated annually.
