Henry M. Jackson High School is the third and newest comprehensive high school in the Everett School District, opened September 7, 1994 in Mill Creek and named for U.S. Senator Henry M. 'Scoop' Jackson. The school enrolls about 2,157 students in grades 9–12 with a 23:1 student/teacher ratio.
Jackson is consistently ranked among Washington's top public high schools — 30th of 438 by SchoolDigger, with a Niche grade of A and a 9/10 GreatSchools rating. SBA results show 56% math and 87% reading proficiency in 2024–25, and AP participation runs at 61% with broad coursework offerings. The school is the #32-ranked WA school by PolarisList HPM placements. Athletics include 22 sports, and the school is well-known regionally for sports and Project Lead The Way engineering.
