Fife High School is the lone high school in the Fife Public Schools district and serves grades 10-12 on a campus on 20th Street East in Fife, between Tacoma and Puyallup along Interstate 5. The school traces its lineage to a high school program founded in 1899 and was formally separated from the lower grades when a new building opened in 1930.
In early 2023 the school opened a 31,000-square-foot STEAM Center of Innovation designed by McGranahan Architects, replacing portable classrooms with eleven new science, art, and technology spaces and consolidating departments under the district's four C's framework of collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity.
The Trojans compete in the South Puget Sound League 2A division, with traditional rivalries against White River and a strong slate of football, basketball, soccer, baseball, and track teams. Programs in band, choir, drama, and visual arts complement AP coursework, and partnerships with Bates Technical College and Pierce College support dual-credit pathways for students.
