Chief Sealth International High School is a 2A Seattle Public Schools comprehensive serving about 1,190 students on a West Seattle campus shared with Denny International Middle School. The international designation reflects an emphasis on world-language and cross-cultural programming rather than a magnet admissions process — the school is open to neighborhood enrollment.
The four-year graduation rate is in the mid-80s with mid-30s direct-to-four-year-college enrollment. Sealth's PTSA was one of a small group of schools nationally selected for a 2025 National PTA grant funding a new Student Leadership and Scholarship Initiative. The school is also slated for major renovation work under Seattle's BEX VI capital levy, with design beginning in 2027 and construction in 2029.
