Centralia Christian School is a non-denominational Christian Pre-K through 10 day school in Centralia, Lewis County, with about 235 students enrolled. Founded as a parish-school-style ministry, the school has grown to one of three private schools serving Lewis County, alongside Lewis County Adventist and St. Joseph Catholic School in Chehalis.
In the small Lewis County private-school market, peer comparisons are limited to the three other private schools plus Christ the King Academy (a K-12 classical Christian school in the same Centralia-Chehalis corridor). Of these, Centralia Christian is the largest and most traditional evangelical-Christian K-10 option. Most graduates either continue to a regional Christian high school, transfer to the public Centralia or W.F. West high schools for grades 11-12, or move to Cascade Christian (Puyallup) or Life Christian (Tacoma) — both larger Christian K-12s up the I-5 corridor.
The academic program emphasizes biblical worldview integration alongside conventional core subjects; tuition is at the lower end of the WA Christian-school range, reflecting the rural-county cost structure. Athletics, fine arts, and electives are limited compared to the larger Puget Sound Christian K-12s, which is the central tradeoff Centralia families weigh against keeping kids in a small, faith-aligned school close to home.
