Central Kitsap High School (the Cougars) is a Central Kitsap School District comprehensive high school in Silverdale, serving about 1,564 students in grades 9–12 with a 22.7:1 student/teacher ratio. The school moved into a new building in fall 2019 — a comprehensive replacement of the prior facility — and is anchored by a performing-arts center used for the school's Spring Play and other productions.
The school posts results in the top 30% of WA public high schools, with about 80% reading and 43% math proficiency. Central Kitsap HS is the #12-ranked WA school by PolarisList HPM placements, an unusually strong showing for a school in Kitsap County. The 2025–26 school calendar follows the standard CKSD schedule with Senior Cap & Gown distribution at lunch in late April.
