Cascade High School is the comprehensive 1A school for the Cascade School District, serving roughly 400 students from Leavenworth, Peshastin, and surrounding Chumstick Highway communities in Chelan County. It is unrelated to the larger Cascade High in Everett despite the shared name.
The school posts strong outcomes for its size: SAT means over 1,160, four-year graduation rate of about 93%, and AP pass rates in the mid-50s. In 2025 the district was named a Green Ribbon School District by OSPI for its environmental and sustainability programs, and Cascade students earned recognition as a National Merit Scholar and U.S. Presidential Scholar semi-finalists. The Class of 2025 graduated at the district football stadium in Peshastin.
