Bothell High School is one of six high schools in the Northshore School District, serving about 1,766 students in grades 9–12 with a 20:1 student/teacher ratio. The school competes in the WIAA KingCo 4A athletic conference and is the #34-ranked WA school by PolarisList HPM placements.
Academics emphasize college preparation through 20 different AP courses, Pre-AP coursework, and 22 College in the High School classes through the University of Washington. The Science Olympiad team has placed first in state competition in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2016, and 2019, qualifying each year for nationals. The Class of 2025 graduated June 11, 2025.
