Ballard High School is a Seattle Public Schools comprehensive high school in the Ballard neighborhood of northwest Seattle, ranked in the top 5% of WA public high schools and the #18-ranked WA school by PolarisList HPM placements. Standout programs include theatre, ceramics, music, and an unusually deep slate of CTE facilities — a greenhouse and a metal shop — alongside competitive athletics.
In February 2025, Ballard captured the WIAA 2A/3A gymnastics state championship — the first SPS gymnastics state title in school records — and the cheer team won back-to-back USA Spirit National Championships. The on-site Teen Health Center transitions to Neighborcare management with a reopening scheduled for April 2026, ensuring continuity of student-focused medical and mental-health services.
