Auburn Senior High School is a 4A comprehensive school in the Auburn School District, serving roughly 1,930 students as the Trojans. It is the largest of three comprehensive high schools in Auburn, with a community-school history dating to the early 20th century. Academic outcomes are below state median: SAT means around 840, AP pass rates near 42%, and four-year graduation around 81%.
For 2025-26, Auburn Schools rolled out a district-wide cell-phone-free policy and standardized school-supply provision. The school varsity football head coach stepped down in November 2025 citing health and family priorities. Auburn has accumulated more than a dozen WIAA state placements across its athletic programs.
